Harlem in Disorder: A Spatial History of How Racial Violence Changed in 1935

"Police Report, 32nd Precinct," Subject Files, Box 178 (Roll 85), Records of Mayor Fiorello H. La Guardia, 1934-1945 (New York City Municipal Archives).

These records take the form of index cards for each individual. They contain the same information as the transcript of the 28th Precinct Police blotter, so likely were copied from the 32nd Precinct Police blotter by MCCH staff. The southern boundary of the district of this precinct was 130th Street and extended from 5th Avenue and the Harlem River in the east to St Nicholas Avenue, Edgecombe Avenue and the Harlem River Parkway in the west as far north as 160th Street. The station house was located on West 135th Street between 7th and 8th Avenues.
