Elizabeth Nadish assaulted
12020-03-11T21:21:54+00:00Anonymous114plain2024-02-27T17:50:24+00:00Stephen Robertsona1bf8804093bc01e94a0485d9f3510bb8508e3bfElizabeth Nadish, a nineteen-year-old white woman, was allegedly assaulted while "walking" in Harlem. The only report of the alleged assault was a photograph published in the Daily Mirror. The photograph shows Nadish from the shoulders up, her right hand behind her head, which is tilted to the left. She is in bed — the pillow and the top of the blankets are visible. She appears to have her eyes open; the quality of the microfilm makes it difficult to see the details of her right eye, which is the eye that appears puffed up.The caption provides no information on where or when the assault took place. Similarly vague is the form of assault; Nadish could have been "beaten" by an individual or a group.
